Kipu-Series

The series published by Kipu-Verlag carries out important moderation and curation functions. Editors determine the thematic focus of each series and ensure consistency across publications. Some series represent completed research projects, while others are ongoing.

Ensayos Interamericanos

The Ensayos Interamericanos series brings together the research work of the project “The Americas as Space of Entanglement.” The long essays are written in German and Spanish, and the English versions are published by New Orleans University Press. The Ensayos InterAmericanos are edited by Wilfried Raussert and Olaf Kaltmeier.

Master-Thesis InterAmerican Studies

The InterAmerican Studies Master's Thesis Series publishes the best theses on interamerican topics that are awarded every two years at Bielefeld University. A jury selects the winners in cooperation with the Center for InterAmerican Studies.

Unterrichtsmaterialien Globales Lernen

The Center for InterAmerican Studies (CIAS) at Bielefeld University's project, "Knowledge about Global Entanglements" aims to establish a dialogue between academia, schools, and extracurricular political education. Representatives from these three areas collaborate to develop teaching materials on intercultural and global learning in German. The result is materials for school lessons that are at the forefront of research and focus on global interdependence in relation to the Americas.
